2007-2008 Fees
The BBSRA has a wide variety of programs to fit everyone’s needs. We have programs for the beginning racer and we have programs designed to help an athlete reach his/her Olympic goals.

The BBSRA is an organization dedicated to providing top level coaching to athletes. Participants primarily range from high school age and younger.
The BBSRA will promote amateur athletics and competition throughout the community to better represent the sports of alpine and freestyle skiing.

Alpine Varsity Team
This is a full-time program for 13-18 year olds running from June through April. This program is for the serious athlete whose personal goal is to reach the highest level of ski racing. Male and female athletes must qualify to be on the Varsity team (based on participation in USSA races).This program takes motivation and commitment from both the parent and the athlete. This is a 5 day-a-week training program. This team has the opportunity to travel all over the western United States to competitions. Each athlete has a personal race schedule designed to help the racer attain his or her optimal skiing goals. There is a significant amount of time spent working with athlete management to ensure each competitor’s success. Varsity on-snow training begins when Bogus Basin opens and finishes when itis closed.

Alpine Development Team
The Alpine Development program is designed for 9-18 year olds that want to get more serious about their ski racing. The Development Team will compete in the North Series races at Bogus Basin, Sun Valley, Kelly Canyon and Jackson Hole. Athletes will be grouped according to age and ability.

Cost J4/J5: $1,245
Cost for J3: $1,270
Cost for J4 Varsity option (train Tuesday and Thursday with Varsity): $400

Alpine Mitey Mites
This program is designed for ages 6 and older with basic skiing skills in search of a learning experience that will develop and all around skier. Mitey Mites are taught basic skiing fundamentals and racing technique according to their age and ability. Most of all we keep skiing and learning FUN!

Cost: Mitey Mites $545

Freeride Development Team
This is a 2 day-a-week program that runs from mid-December to mid-March. Designed for skiers ages 9 and older, this program refines skiing skills and applies modern big mountain and terrain park technique. The training groups will also be based on age and ability. The Development Team program goal is to get every participant skiing their best and reaching their personal goals comfortably. Home competitions will occur through out the season.

Cost Freeride Devo Team: $850

Mitey Mite Freeride
The Freeride Mitey Moguls program is an 12-week program. Designed for the beginning Freeride skier who is age 8 or older, this group works on basic skiing fundamentals and then transfers their skill onto the entire mountain. This is the perfect program for a child is ready for a little more structure in their skiing and wants to become a better all mountain skier. An introduction to terrain park skiing will be taught. All groups are based on age and ability. Fun and learning go hand in hand.
