Development Team Report
Hi Devo Team, I hope you are all excited to see the white stuff on the
mountain. I bet some of you have even went skiing at Brundage last
weekend. Rumor
has it that it was great! We just finished with our dryland schedule.
We had a ton of different kids come and it was a lot of fun. Conditioning
is very important for
ski racing and I encourage all of you to keep ACTIVE now that a lot of
your fall sports are done. Most of you have a terrific base and it doesn't
take much to maintain your level of fitness. If you don't do anything
then it will be much harder for you to re-gain it. There are a couple
of things for now. 1. We will have a DEVO Team meeting at the BBSRA
office on Wednesday, November 30th at 6:30pm. Kids are welcome.
Plan on spending around 45 minutes and we'll go over the schedule
for the year and some expectations. 2. We are offering a Thanksgiving
Camp this year up in McCall on Nov. 25, 26 and 27th. I am still up in
the air whether we will be in Tamarack or Brundage. We will be in one
of those places even if Bogus is open. The coverage will be much better
up there than it will be here. You will have the option of coming any
or all of the days you want. The cost will be $20.00 per day plus the
cost of the lift ticket. Transportation is on your own. This part may
influence whether we are at Tamarack or Brundage. It will be closer for
us to be at Tamarack for those traveling back and forth. The cost of
the lift tickets are the same. Now the BIGGIE...I need to know who is
interested in skiing...what days and if you will be staying up there
or driving back and forth. This is important for me to finish organizing
and staffing the trip. Please let
me know ASAP. I will have info
at the beginning of next week on the particulars. A reminder that the Winter
Welcome is Friday night. We have so many great auction items. We'd
love to see all of you parents there! It's
ALWAYS a great time. That's it for now, |
