Greetings to the Devo Team.
We are finally getting some
good training and it shows. The kids are skiing better and have really been
making a lot of great adjustments in their skiing and in their line. It has
been awesome!
As most of you know, this is the Sun Valley Race weekend. This is the
first race of the season where I feel the kids are prepared well enough.
The conditions should be great over there and I anticipate the Bogus
kids skiing very well. A lot of our training has been on an "ice
layer" so
we should be good to go.
It's very important for all of the Devo Team to get good rest this week
and go into the weekend prepared and rested. The slalom is on Saturday
and the GS is on Sunday. I expect all of our kids to wax for the slalom
prior to leaving. Don't stress about hitting the wax since it is not
a wax race. A universal wax should work fine. Make sure your skis are
in good shape and ready to go!
This Wednesday we will train one more day of Slalom.
The Devo group as a whole has been doing great. The attitude of our entire
team has been great. Keep up the good work.

P.S. Remember to get Shannon your entry fee for the weekend. Also...I
have not heard of anyone who is NOT going to Sun Valley. Let me know
if you are NOT going. Otherwise I will assume the entire team is making
the trip.
