Hey Everyone,

What a great time we had this weekend. The races were great and the conditions were about as perfect as they get. The kids performed well as a whole. We also had a few of kids that were a little bit disappointed with their results. Sun Valley is a very difficult hill and I know all of you gave your best effort!

As most of you know, the Sun Valley Race was the last race for our regular season. We have Intermountain Champs and North Champs left. Here is the list of kids who have qualified for IMD Champs in McCall on the 11th and 12th of March. Congratulations!!!!!! Great job on your accomplishment. It’s always bitter-sweet having kids who qualified and some who didn’t. I’m sorry for the kids who didn’t quite make it. For those that did make it... Please go ahead and make reservations in McCall . Town is getting pretty booked so we are not able to block rooms anywhere. I will get all of the details out to you later in the week regarding times etc....

North Champs are on Mar. 18-19. You do not have to qualify for this event. So if you want to go...you’re more than welcome.

This weeks training will be GS on Wed. night and Saturday and Slalom training on Sunday and next Wed. We will have training here for the kids who are home on the 11th and 12th so they can get ready for the North Champs. Once again...the dreaded bus. I just need two more Wednesday’s covered from a volunteer parent. We’re getting so close. If you can do it this Wed. or next, I’d be very appreciative.

And lastly...the track jackets are ordered and should be ready by next Wed. or at the very latest...next Friday. I will let you know on the final cost as soon as I know. They are going to be sooooooooo cool.
