Freestyle Varsity Report #3
February 24, 2005

Hello all freestylers,
We are winding down the season and, as promised, Bogus is coming through for us and helping us prepare our sites for the Intermountain Divisional Competition.

This competition will be held on March 4-6th with the following format: 4th-moguls; 5th-aerials; 6th-dual moguls. This compeition is open to all skiers who would like to compete. If you have not competed this season, you will need to purchase a USSA license and register for the competition. Please go to: FreestyleFrenzy.com to get the USSA form and to register. If you have any problems, call Shannon Carrell at 336-5295 and she can help you through it your first time.

For all Mitey Mite skiers, I suggest that you try the mogul compeition and you may want to try aerials but should decide after this weekends training when you have a chance to ski the courses.

Thank you to Chad Coleman (the varsity coach) and to Beau Burley who have put a tremendous amount of time into the preparation of the sites. Even though they have been working all week, we will still need help. ANY VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! If you can help shouvel this weekend, it would be greatly appreciated. Meet in the a.m at the training center and we will direct you from there.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! Besides this weekend, we will neeed parent
volunteers for the competition for a variety of jobs. If you would like to
be a starter, help with scoring, etc. we need you! Let me know and details
will come in the near future.

Thanks!!!
Melanie
