BBSRA Teams
BBSRA has a number of groups and individuals who are directly related to the program. First and foremost are the approximately 350 active Alpine and Freeride Program participants, enrolled in our various programs. Students range from 6 to 50 years of age and participate in various programs at different levels depending on their age and ability level.

Most of the programs operate from December through March. There are additional months of physical conditioning offered to the 13-and-older age groups plus all Varsity squad members.

Parents play a major role in the success of the athletes and the program. Without parental support, BBSRA could not exist. Not only do the parents need to support their children morally and financially, but they also need to volunteer their time in our various activities and events throughout the season.

The Bogus Basin Recreation Association is a major supporter of BBSRA. The area provides us with the necessary training, racing, and contest sites for our program. In addition, Bogus Basin provides financial support and grooming requests and meets our additional daily needs.

The staff of BBSRA is quite large. Total coaches, from all of our programs, consist of approximately 40. Each program has a supervisor who in turn reports back to the head coach. The staff is well qualified and has knowledge of current teaching, racing and freestyle techniques. It is the job of our coaches to provide the motivation and opportunities for each athlete in BBSRA to reach his/her goals.
