Mitey Mites
Welcome
to the 2007-2008 Season. We are in full swing with getting registration packets out the door.
If you don't receive your registration packet, please call the
BBSRA office (336-5295) and we'll be happy to send you out a one.
We have two major fundraisers coming up. First is the Ski Swap which
will be held on November 1-4. Secondly, we have the Winter Welcome
coming up on the 16th of November. You will be recieving information
on both events.
General Information
The Mitey Mite program is a non-traveling ski racing program for ages
6 and older. The Mitey Mite Program is a 12-week program that runs from
December through March. Children involved in the program train on Saturdays
or
Sundays and have the option of adding jumping or Christmas camp.
The Mitey Mite program is an introductory
ski racing program designed for ages 6-12 with basic skiing skills. Mitey
Mites is ideal for skiers in search of a learning experience that will
develop a good skiing skills and a passion for the sport (or something
like that).
Participants must be 6 years of age by
December 31st. Mitey Mites with basic skiing skills are taught racing technique
on suitable terrain
for their
age and ability, as well as racing tactics. In addition, Mitey Mites
are conditioned to ski varied terrain — ranging from moguls
to powder. Fun
and learning go hand in hand.
